“Through our scholarship program, we are able to give hope to those talented dance students who may have thought to put their dance careers on hold due to finances – especially in this challenging economic climate,” said Bob Dagger, president of American Harlequin Corporation. “At Harlequin, we constantly seek to provide dancers with a solid foundation, whether through our high-performance flooring or this scholarship program designed to encourage young dancers to continue their commitment to the performing arts throughout their lives.”
The company also shared that it will continue its commitment to supporting talented emerging dancers, as it is currently accepting entries for its 2010 scholarship program. Students may apply online for consideration to receive up to $5,000 in scholarship funds. Staying true to the belief that the beauty of art is truly in the eye of the beholder, American Harlequin does not choose the winners, but instead draws the winners at random. Entrants can apply online at Harlequin’s Web Site and must submit the completed application before the November 1, 2010 deadline.
